Estancia Tipiliuke offers exceptional wild quail hunting. Hunters follow well-trained pointing dogs through the valley in search of the large coveys in which the California Quail of South America hold incredibly well, compared to their North American cousins who tend to run much more. Wingshooters often encounter massive coveys of quail, some 100 strong. Quail season runs from May 1st through July 31st.
There are also a range of sporting activities to enjoy year-round at this special wingshooting destination. In addition to world class quail hunting in the Patagonia Region, you can also enjoy fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking or just relaxing in the natural beauty of this estancia located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. Alongside the prolific quail population, you’ll also find species like red stag and wild boar, during their respective hunting seasons. This enchanting South American Lake District offers a myriad of activities for the sportsmen and nature enthusiast alike.

The lodge is located in northwest Patagonia, Argentina in the southwest corner of the Neuquén province, about 1000 miles southwest of Buenos Aires. It is situated directly between the two towns of Junín de los Andes (13.7 miles away) and San Martin de los Andes (21.7 miles away). The destination is only a 10-minute drive from the Chapelco airport. Most guests arrive via the 2-hour flight from the Buenos Aires domestic airport (Aeroparque) into the San Martin de los Andes airport (Chapelco). Another option is to fly into Bariloche from Buenos Aires (Aeroparque airport). This, however, is a 3.5-hour drive to the lodge through scenic Patagonia roads.
Your passport must be valid for six months following the last day of your South American trip. If your passport expires before then, please renew it right away.
