My family just completed our second trip to Zancudo Lodge this year. It is a unique destination, with amazing fishing and luxury accommodations. The owners are onsite and terrific hosts, and the food is as good as any you'll find. The staff is welcoming, and the fishing captains are outstanding. I've fished in 6 different countries and have never had a better captain than Javier, who is great with kids as well. The lodge also offers a variety of tours that are great for non-fishing days. We highly recommend it and will be back.

The Zancudo Lodge was a great place for our business retreat. Outstanding service, impeccable dining, and World Class fishing. The rooms were first class. The guides worked extremely hard to put us in the fish. We caught numerous Sailfish and a trophy Roosterfish.

Sample Itinerary

DAY 1

Depart the United States (daily direct flight from Atlanta, Houston, Dallas & most major international airports into San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO) ) Meet & greet upon arrival to San Jose by English-speaking guide. Transfer to & Overnight in San Jose luxury hotel.

DAY 2:

Transfer from hotel to Sansa airport for early morning charter flight (45 min) to Golfito Bay. Meet & greet upon arrival & short transfer to Zancudo Lodge, where you will begin your 1st full day of fishing! Overnight at Zancudo.

DAY 3 & 4

Full day of fishing, typical program begins at 6:00 AM. Return back to lodge for evening cocktails, relaxation, & gourmet meal fresh from the ocean & our local garden! Overnight at Zancudo.

DAY 5

Early morning breakfast & departure back to Golfito where you will catch your return flight to San Jose. *Can add up to 3 more days of fishing if desired.
